who I am:
I am a true believer in the gospel of sustainability. Emerging from an initial education in the performing arts, I’ve been privileged to see a great deal of what our planet and its people have to offer. It seems only right I do what I can to help ensure such gifts are enjoyed by those less privileged as well as those in generations to come. This ethic is what prompted my course change from East Asian Studies to environmental education following my years as an undergraduate, and it has informed nearly every career choice I’ve made since then.
I work to combine my technical expertise in spatial systems and analysis and my skills in graphic design and science interpretation to tackle emerging challenges in sustainability systems planning, collaboration, and visualization. My hope is that with improved understanding of human- and resource-intertwined systems, the general public and our societies' governing bodies will make better-informed decisions and from these decisions we'll enjoy an increasing rate of adoption for sustainable practices and technology.
